30 Greatest RPG Video Games Of All Time

8. Fallout: New Vegas

After moving from Washington D.C. in the last game to the slightly less annihilated landscape of Las Vegas, Fallout: New Vegas re-introduced some elements from the early games in the series. Be a good guy or a murderous jerk, help a faction, kill mutants, embark on some of the best side-quests ever to be put into a game, spend money in the casino, the world really is your radiation covered oyster.

We were also introduced to hardcore mode in New Vegas. For anyone who feels games aren't realistic enough, with this enabled you need to regularly eat, drink and rest to stay alive; so difficult it recommends the player not to turn it on.
