19. No Man's Sky's Procedurally Generated Galaxy Is Immense (And It's Coming To PC)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuatlzRxKVQ One of the most anticipated video games awaiting release right now is unquestionably Hello Games' sci-fi title No Man's Sky, and company co-founder Sean Murray took to the E3 stage to further demonstrate the game's immense open-universe by way of a procedurally-generated environment. It's clear from the demo that the game is insanely huge, and owing to its procedural nature, even the developers themselves have no idea what the game's going to cook up for players. In addition to showing off the fully destructible environments and sentinel bots that patrol each planet, Murray confirmed the end-goal of the game, to reach the center of the galaxy, but even once you've achieved this, you're still able to explore the expanse to your heart's content. What's more, a release date is coming soon, and at the PC gaming show Murray confirmed that it's headed to PC as well.
