39 WTF Moments From E3 2015

28. The Division's Ridiculously Unrealistic "Team Chat"

Ubisoft showed off some solid new gameplay footage from The Division during their conference, and like so many developers keen to shove the idea of co-operative play down gamers' throats, the video featured a ton of laughably scripted "team chat" between the squad's players. From the overly-serious way the players talk to the fact that nobody ever overlaps one another just made the whole thing reek of in-authenticity to a hilarious degree. It would've been more effective for Ubisoft to allow a focus group of teens to play the game and record their responses instead: at least it would've seemed real. It's painfully obvious that someone sat down and scripted out the player dialogue of the entire sequence, which made it rather awkward to listen to.
