After Unravel was shown off, a zombie mascot from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 entered the stage to Kenny Loggins' cheese classic "Danger Zone", strutting and posing to an almost completely dead crowd. After what seemed like an eternity (it was actually about 30 seconds), Franchise Creative Director Jeremy Vanhoozer came out and told the zombie, "You gotta go, my turn", before turning to the audience and telling them, "You can't take zombies anywhere", garnering not a single laugh in one of the expo's most stingingly embarrassing moments.
