21. Yosuke Matsuda Fails At English
https://youtu.be/aQwlJzROy38?t=5186 Given the worldwide nature of gaming and how many titles are developed in Europe, Scandinavia and Japan, it's accepted that not every figurehead of a company is going to have fantastic English, but that said, Square Enix President and CEO Yosuke Matsuda tested gamers the world over with his rather...ambiguous attempt at reading the teleprompter. Now, given that other speakers had a translator, why did Matsuda feel the need to try and speak English, resulting in only sometimes understandable speech? It killed the Square Enix conference's momentum stone dead, thought thankfully it was pretty much over by the time he got to the stage anyway (all the good stuff, at least).
