6. Angry Metroid Fans Petition For The Cancellation Of Federation Force

There were high hopes that, at Nintendo's digital event, they would unveil the latest core Metroid game, but instead, Nintendo simply showed off Metroid Prime: Federation Force, a rather underwhelming DS game with mediocre visuals and a focus on multiplayer above all else. Fans were outraged and soon enough created a petition, requesting the cancellation of the game in place of a proper Metroid Prime sequel. The petition has had thousands of signatures already, and to even further demonstrate the hate for the DS game, the official trailer video on YouTube has over 30,000 dislikes with only around 3,000 likes. Wow. Even so, the petition likely won't result in any action and a "proper" Prime game is almost certainly already in development anyway, so fans need to just sit tight.
