4 Reasons Why BioWare Owes Us A Star Wars Gaming Do-Over

1. Screw Timeless

kotor2_restoration There were too many things left undone in KotOR II, and many articles and blogs by developers and reviewers that point out all the things the game was supposed to do (at least 2 more entire areas, more character development in the supporting cast, and more possible endings). Also, the game seemed to have too much going on to end so abruptly. Anyone whose played knows that no matter how the player goes about the game, the last addition to the team will come with little time to really play with them. The key to getting the most out of each supporting character also took very careful planning due to the time constraints, making a second play through require a great deal of mandatory order of operation tactics. With that much left undone and a PC only restoration effort that fixed a lot of the things wrong with the second title and restored the original levels and circumstances, it€™s time for BioWare to call it€™s deformed clone Obsidian and make it right, finally. There are so many technological jumps from the original Xbox to the upcoming Xbox One, and so many tricks learned in the development of not only Mass Effect but Dragon€™s Age as well. These new tricks can be used to tell an amazing story that already exists in full. That means they just have to make a game that really tells it. So, there we are BioWare, my favorite developer. I€™m asking you to do what you should have done almost a decade ago. Finish the series like you started it, and don€™t make me slog through a seas of MMO crap to get it. Oh and I also want a sequel to Jade Empire. See reason? Who said I was reasonable? I€™m a gamer!

Dante R Maddox got started in writing about pop culture in 2007. He developed his conversational style majoring in English and minoring in speech communication, his desire to write as if he were speaking to the reader face to face was the bane of many professors. An odd blend of geek cred and regular fella chic', you're just as likely to end up talking about baseball or politics as you are about comic books and movies (just don't mention Tucker Carlson, you are addressing the man who will go to jail for assault in the future after all). He wrote a book called The Lineage of Durge that's available on Amazon for a small amount of money, he's writing a second while acting as Editor-in-Stuff over at Saga Online Press, there is a graphic novel expansion of his book series also in the works as well as continued development of his cheesecannon, one day Canada...one day (Seriously, a piece of ham, you slice it up and now it's bacon?!?!? I say thee nay!!!)
