4 Reasons Why BioWare Owes Us A Star Wars Gaming Do-Over

2. Episode VII

JJ Abrams With JJ Abrams about to drop the next Star Wars film on us, the timing is perfect for BioWare to distract the public to the prequels so people actually come out and see these new films. All kidding aside, Disney isn€™t going to be shy about promoting a franchise like Star Wars. Disney could gain a lot of good will if they trotted out the video game franchise that took the expanded universe to new heights. There are many fans that are less than thrilled that Disney is involved in the first place, those fans need to get a clue and pay attention to reality and not the perception created by Mickey Mouse, but perception is a thing after all. Disney needs to build their street cred, and they could earn a lot (Ha! I just used the term €˜street cred€™ in relation to Star Wars fans€ I should take my own lunch money) which will make sure that they get the butts in the seats. KotOR didn€™t become the staple that it did because I liked it; there are many fans that would change their attitude towards Disney if they did us a solid like this. Plus, it would be a true tragedy if when Abrams nails it (and he will) and nobody cares.

Dante R Maddox got started in writing about pop culture in 2007. He developed his conversational style majoring in English and minoring in speech communication, his desire to write as if he were speaking to the reader face to face was the bane of many professors. An odd blend of geek cred and regular fella chic', you're just as likely to end up talking about baseball or politics as you are about comic books and movies (just don't mention Tucker Carlson, you are addressing the man who will go to jail for assault in the future after all). He wrote a book called The Lineage of Durge that's available on Amazon for a small amount of money, he's writing a second while acting as Editor-in-Stuff over at Saga Online Press, there is a graphic novel expansion of his book series also in the works as well as continued development of his cheesecannon, one day Canada...one day (Seriously, a piece of ham, you slice it up and now it's bacon?!?!? I say thee nay!!!)
