2. Point Lookout - Fallout 3
Fallout 3 is an amazing game, no arguments here. It won several Game of the Year awards and has made Bethesda quite a profit. With the addition of DLC, several unique levels and quests were added to the already expansive wasteland-themed sandbox game. The other additions were good, but Point Lookout is the most unique of the bunch. This DLC brings the player to Maryland for a rambunctious good time, running through hillbilly-infested swamps, making moonshine, and joining a cult. This last bit is a guaranteed WTF?!? moment, when the protagonist goes through a ritual to join the cult by ingesting a strange plant. Things seem normal at first, but the following segment has the character hallucinating to no end. With the creativity that went in to scripting and designing this segment and area in general, it's no wonder Fallout 3 earned such high praises.
