40 Most Entertaining PlayStation & Xbox Games Of All Time

40. Jak 3 (PS2)

Jak 3 This title made the list mainly because it is the first PS2 title I ever fully completed (Shrek was close to being my first, but I couldn't beat it because of how annoying Donkey's remarks were). Although being extremely tough, for me at least, the story was very enticing, and the world intrigued me. Once I finally beat the game, I paraded around my school and bragged about my accomplishment. No one actually cared, though. Maybe it was because I was much too old to be playing Jak and Shrek, but that's besides the point. Best Part: There was one particular sequence that involved a dune buggy of sorts and allowed players to race through a desert. This made the game extra fun for me, especially since it was the first time I had virtually driven a vehicle. I also enjoyed never running out of gas, because later on in life I realised how terrible that was.

39. Motorstorm (PS3)

MotorStorm This game defined fun for me. I've always loved racing games and had been an avid dirt-biker as a kid, so naturally, this game was perfect. It is a very rewarding to finish a race in first, but not nearly as awesome as crashing your bike and flying in the air. I remember that some of my friends at the time weren't allowed to play this game because of all the violence, but when I look at the stuff they play now, this game seems like a family-friendly Wii Sports-like title. This game is fun because it actually has its physics right, and when players are flying out of their vehicle, you actually feel like you are too. Best Part: Crashing. Seriously. Get the game. Try it out.
