Even though there are already 7 canonical games in this classic franchise spanning Nintendo history, its hard not to get excited about a new Mario Kart. It will probably never be dethroned as far as Kart racers go, primarily because each installment is able to bring a new interesting gimmick to the table that really does set each game apart. This versions wacky new mechanic will apparently allow you to drive along walls and ceilings, essentially defying gravity. Sounds like a feature that will create loads of laughs and fun.
Watch Dogs is the game we all thought we would be playing once we ushered in the next generation of gaming, but Ubisoft unfortunately had other plans. Gamers were obviously disappointed as many of them had pre-ordered a console for Watch Dogs. Its an open-world rendition of Chicago where you play as the ultimate hacker, and can get into all sorts of shenanigans. Watch Dogs looks like Grand Theft Auto except youre playing as a good guy instead of a criminal psychopath. Furthermore the game is designed like another reskinning of Assassins Creed and Far Cry 3, but I mean that as a compliment. Ubisofts open world structuring makes for some addictive times that eat away hours of your day without you knowing or caring. http://youtu.be/EvR3VUsRrsg
A lot of gamers out there heavily criticized Bioware for dumbing down Dragon Age 2, stripping away the micromanaging and tedium aspects of combat. I honestly adored those changes and found the game faster paced with more exhilarating combat. Im sure Bioware will attempt striking a balance this time around but even if they didnt, Dragon Age is hugely popular and filled with an entertaining medieval fantasy narrative. Its also hard to pass up fighting next generation dragons. http://youtu.be/SpEsgxlZqro
