5 Awesome Games That Deserve Sequels
1. Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines
The best vampire game you'll ever play, though the amount of bugs does let it down, but the fantasy and political background provides one hell of night. An intriguing part of the game is its diversity with classes, which in some cases doesn't just revolve around abilities, but also NPC interactions. The concept and story of Bloodlines is fresh and original take on the vampire genre, as well as providing fun and empowering feelings like feeding on a helpless victims or making ignorant human thugs blood boil and eventually explode, which conveys this impression of a predator looming in the night. Sadly developer Troika closed its doors, crushing any hopes of future sequels, or so we thought. CCPGAMES, famous for developing EVE Online and the upcoming Dust 514, is currently developing an spiritual sequel with the MMO called World of Darkness. Though I am a bit reluctant due to the accessibility to CCP games, the concepts in terms of gameplay mechanics and how the world works sounds very interesting. Like many Single Player games that have switched to MMO's, I'm afraid this change will take away what I loved about the original game, hopefully CCP will prove me wrong.
