5 Classic Games That Deserve Remakes
4. Grand Theft Auto Vice City
Everytime I started a new game, got in the car and listened to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean", I immediately got sucked into Vice City. Out of all GTA's games, Vice City's where the most fun is. There were many mechanics in the game that fit the world perfectly, giving that "Scarface" feel as you bought business one by one and expanding the Vercetti empire. The retro-time of the 80's was another boon, giving it an opportunity to touch upon famous events in the 80's, but changing it in Rockstar fashion, spewing insanely hilarious one-liners like "He would have been a fine American, I'll cry after am done killing..." With most games being set in modern settings, it would fresh to go back to a time where cassettes still existed and brick-like mobile phones. One thing to mention, they needn't go back to Vice City. Why not go to London, L.A, New York etc. Going to these different cities can give fans a different perceptive of 80's, like how prevalent crime was and exploring all types of criminal fraternities, which could be a ripe place to plow with GTA 4's tone of a serious story.
