5 Classic Games That Deserve Remakes

3. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

KOTOR is very important to me, its characters, worlds and paths you can take your hero or villain sticks with me to this day. Not to but a downer on The Old Republic which I like, but it doesn't grasp what KOTOR accomplished. Whenever I play I became completely immersed, becoming part of the Star Wars universe, making small and big decisions that would change the course of the story or someone's life. And there is the matter of the revelation, something that could rival Darth Vader's confession to Luke Skywalker, because of that, I think it's very important KOTOR is brought back to show the excellence of Bioware's work. The protagonist has became such a big icon, that Bioware cemented what "he" actually looked like, as well as choosing the light side. As with Mass Effect and Dragon Age, the default face should be what he looks, but the variety of options that were available in the past should be present. Another addition which has been put in most of their franchises, is the inclusion , which KOTOR was sorely lacking, as the protagonist had the emotion depth of a plank of wood. Combat should also be creatively experimented with, as the turn based gameplay left much to be desired for lightsaber fans. Ultimately, you can never take away how great the original KOTOR was, regardless of this remake would be received world wide.

Aaron Neil Scanlon hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
