When going through Nintendos library of games, its easy to see what Nintendo can and probably will inevitably bring to the Wii U. We have of course a New Super Mario Bros U and a Smash Bros. Wii U game on the horizon. Arguably, what Nintendo has to revive for its next console generation is its originality. Aside from Wii Sports/Mii centric games, the Wii played host to a multitude of re-imaginings of old Nintendo games. We had Mario games, Zelda games, Metroid games, Donkey Kong....the list goes on. What we didnt have is any original titles from Nintendo. Heck even the Gamecube played host to Pikmin, Battalion Wars, Chibi-Robo, Cubivore and Luigis Mansion. What we need to see from Nintendo with Wii U, is a great original title that really plays to the strengths of their new system, and no, Nintendo land is not it! In a year or so from now, when Microsoft and Sony are ramping up for their new console releases, Nintendo needs to make sure it has made a name for itself and given gamers a reason to still care about the Wii U. Nintendo has always managed to create some of the most innovative games of any generation, and it needs to put that talent to use in a big way with the Wii U.
