Ever since the N64 came out, I have been waiting for Nintendo to give us a fully realised console release of Pokémon. So far theyve failed to deliver. Sure we had the awesome Pokémon Snap, the okay-ish Pokémon Stadium games and the disappointing Pokémon Colosseum series, as well as a whole host of other mini-game collections and WiiWare titles, but we still dont have what we all want: a full disc-based Pokémon game, complete with fully realised 3D worlds and characters, real Pokémon sounds (none of these bleeps and bloops found on the handheld titles) and online multiplayer and trading. The Wii U Gamepad would act as you inventory screens, your move menu and more. It could even act as your personal Pokédex, where holding up your controller to the screen would enable you to scan wild Pokémon. Whether you like Pokémon or not, the series is still immensely popular and carries a lot of weight around the world. If Nintendo actually gets around to releasing this, It could easily end up being the Wii Us killer title.
