5 Greatest Battle HM’s in Pokemon History

3. Strength This one isn't a water type move! Okay now that we have gotten over that celebratory fact let's break this one down, first off it is a normal type move so that means almost any Pokemon can learn it (with some exceptions of course) but overall this move is probably the best HM for teaching it to any Pokemon. I mean can you honestly think of a Pokemon that wouldn't benefit from having a move with base attack of 80 and 100% accuracy? No? Didn't think so. Again it might be drag if you slap this onto something like a Furret because then you have to have it with you and at a decent levels at almost all times because who knows when a puzzle that deals with Strength will pop up, but if you are smart about it and you make something like your Primeape or say a Tauros; or any Pokemon that already is heavily based in Physical attacks and learns heavy hitting high impact moves with a high base attack then it will be smooth sailing. Of course in recent games this has been a bit harder, but even the most recent generation games have a few good choices for this move such as a Scrafy or if you need it early on Stoutland is a good choice as a HM based Pokemon (since it is Normal type anyhow). Anyway onto the next. 2. Dive Okay is it just me or does Pokemon have a thing for water type HM moves? Seriously I went through the list and this is honestly number two, I was considering Rock Smash but it lost HM status in the newest Gen so yeah...here we are. Dive has the same basic sets as Strength as far as power, attack type, and accuracy goes. What makes Dive so get is that it is a two turn attack (one move where you Dive and the second where you attack like Fly), the only thing that can hit during the first turn of this move are the moves Surf and Whirlpool (which makes sense if you think about it). The reason this move is so great for battle is the aspect of being able to dodge most moves for an entire turn and then attack after that, if used right it could win you a battle easily and it has me and my Azumarill many a time including the time I beat Lt. Surge in the Pokemon World Championship. Again this list seems very water based heavy, but still this move as well as all of the others deserve to be on this list.
