3. The Giant’s Mask - Majora’s Mask

The Giant’s Mask in Majora’s Mask is the ‘Zelda’ equivalent of receiving the first installment of No Man’s Sky. While it works well and looks cool, there’s just so much more that was expected from it. The Giant’s Mask allows Link to grow to a skyscraper's size so that he can beat the giant, dual centipede boss, Twinmold, and that’s about it, unfortunately.

Anyone that has played Majora’s Mask exited the Stone Tower Temple after beating Twinmold with the hopes of being able to use the Giant’s Mask anywhere in Termina. The unfortunate part of this is that with the exception of game breaking glitches, the mask can only be worn and used properly in the Twinmold boss fight room. The only other possible use of this item is by trading it near the end of the game for the Fierce Deity’s Mask.

The biggest problem with the Giant’s Mask is that it is a letdown. The mask’s use feels underdeveloped and rushed. What could’ve been an awesome item to use after the Twinmold fight ends up being a one-time, never talked about again item. It is even made more useless through the fact that Twinmold can be beaten without it.
