5 Most Despicable Capcom Decisions

2. Box Art Mega Man/Mega Snubs

Box Art Meg Man What is this? Well if you recall, Capcom-Unity did a survey about who fans wanted to see in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Mega Man X was number two! Well, apparently in Capcom€™s surveying €œhe didn€™t make the ranking€ according to Ryota Niitsuma (producer on the game). Well, I€™m not going to say whether or not this is correct, but I will say I doubt Firebrand was more requested than Mega Man€™s robot dog. Now, it is up to them who they put in the game, but don€™t mess with fans and say their opinions matter to you if they don€™t. If that that wasn€™t enough, they did finally put Mega Man in a different fighting franchise, with a twist. It was in no way the Mega Man people loved; no Blue Bomber, just Box Art Mega Man (pictured above). Who wanted this? Was this a sick joke from Capcom to mock their fanbase? I know no one who was even remotely excited to to see €œBox Art Mega Man€. Now that would have been nothing to sweat, if they had the real Mega Man in the game; then this would have been just some goofy bonus character that no one uses. Some might say that it really isn€™t something to be upset about, but think if in Super Smash Bros. 4 they used Concept Art Mario (plus making him obese) instead of the Mario design we know and love?
