5 Reasons Dragon's Dogma Sequel Is Great Idea

1. Renewing Faith In Capcom

For those who aren't familiar, the Better Business Bureau changed Capcom's rating from an A+ to a B. This was primarily due to players who filed numerous complaints on Capcom's practice of DLC and re-releasing games with new content in a short amount of time. A sequel to Dragon's Dogma, if handled correctly, might drastically improve Capcom's reputation. First off, they can't release this sequel within the year because it would be judged as greedy. They can't use the same exact system with a different story because it would be judged as greedy. They can't release a "Dragon's Dogma 1.5" because it would be judged as greedy... You get the idea. Capcom needs to really think about how to market and design this game and how to create hype for it without appearing to be pushing the practices that made the BBB downgrade them. Thankfully, they have Resident Evil 6 to change the tides in their favour (fingers crossed) and hopefully they make "doubly sure of which will see them to their destination." It's far too early to be making any judgments and whether this sequel will actually see the light of day is up in the air, so for now, we can all retreat to our screens and pray to not hear about any goblins or harpies or anyone being soaked by water. What do you think? Would you welcome a Dragon's Dogma sequel? And what would you want to see from it? Share your thoughts below.
