3. The Improvements
The last entry in the once-great franchise, NBA Live 16, wasn't a great success. NBA Live 17 went through so many delays that EA Sports basically decided that it would be more beneficial to regroup and skip the title in order to deliver a more polished product a year later.
While NBA Live 18 isn't an entirely new game, it does a couple of things better than its predecessor.
The player animations are more personalized and natural. The players simply look better, even though they keep their arcade look - NBA Live players always seem lighter, less powerful, and "real." It might take NBA Live a couple of years to switch to the Frostbite engine used by FIFA, but there's no denying that the game looks fantastic even at this stage.
