The One is the selling point of NBA Live 18. It was the main part of its E3 presentation and it'll be the main, if not the sole part of the demo that'll be released this week.
The game mode allows the gamer to build up his position not only on the professional courts of the NBA, but also on such respected street courts as Rucker Park and HoopDome.
The player will pick between 12 playstyles, which include: point shooter, slasher, wing defender, and post anchor. Collecting special traits will allow the player to enhance his abilities, but also the abilities of his teammates. There are different ranks for every trait as well.
After every game, the player gets a teammate grade reminiscent of NBA 2K, but also experience and street hype points. That way the player can become an NBA star and build up his street credibility at the same time.
