As a standard, it's probably safe to assume that all Wii U games are going to support playing with the Wii U Gamepad. Any Multi Platform game can be safely assumed to support playing with the Wii U Pro controller due to its similarities with the controllers for other systems. With the success of the Wii and the slowly growing numbers of PS3 games that support the Move controller, we're probably going to see a good number of Wii U games support Wii remotes. What does this mean for the Wii U owner playing a multi-platform title? It means choice. The choice to play with traditional controls if you want. The choice to use an IR pointer if you feel you can be more accurate that way. The ability to use a touch screen if that's what you want to to. You have more choices on the Wii U, which can never be a bad thing.
