5 Reasons Why EarthBound Is The Most Exciting Video Game Of 2013

4. Fun

Fuzzy Pickles EarthBound is simply a fun game. The script is perfect and hilarious, and no matter what, you€™ll find yourself cracking up during almost every conversation during the game. A billboard in Twoson, the second city visited during game play, tells Ness that the city holds that name because it is the second city. A little ways away, in the hotel in Twoson, a man gives Ness $50 to stop annoying him and talking to him. Every billboard contains some sort of joke, and there is even a billboard designer named Brick Road that the player meets later in the game. There is even an in-game camera-man who descends from the sky to take picturesque photos of Ness and co. when they are in front of particularly memorable landscapes. Every time, he tells Ness to say "Fuzzy Pickles," and at the end of the game, you get to see the photos. Furthermore, a game that lets you buy a Fresh Egg for $12, keep it until it hatches into a Chicken and starts squawking at you, and then sell that Chicken for $110 and $98 of pure profit, is a great game in my book.
