The future is now and long gone are the days of having controllers strapped to our hands. When Nintendo introduced the Wii motion controller several years ago, Microsoft and Sony rushed to join the motion gaming craze. Wiis were flying off the shelves and stores couldnt keep up with the demand. The Nintendo had successfully made a gaming system for the whole family. So when Playstation Move was released in 2010, gamers werent actually lining up for blocks to buy it. The Move controller did nothing to prove it was better than the already popular Wii-motion remote. Looking more like a microphone with a ping pong screwed to the top, Playstation owners failed to see any difference technically between the two controllers. Two months later, Microsoft countered with Kinect and blew away the competition. Instead of capitalizing on the future of motion gaming, Sony PS3 chose to create a controller that could compete with the Wii but was left in the dust by the potential of Xbox Kinect.
