3. Kinect
"The Kinect?!" you all shout at once. Look I hear you. I don't really care about the Kinect. I don't know too many people who do care about it. Although, this feeds into my last point. We always forget about the people who aren't shouting about the negative aspects. The real fact of the matter is that those people make the 'majority' of console buyers.. It is dangerous for us to forget about that. Perhaps I have been speculating too much, so let me whip some figures out. The fact is that a huge number of people do seemingly care about the Kinect. The motion control censor is past 25 million units sold. That is way more than any Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto or FIFA. The idea of an improved Kinect, that ships with the console, that you can use to significantly improve your entertainment system could well be an even bigger hit. Sure, some customers may be happy with the one they have, but I always find that a somewhat unsubstantiated claim. There is just no way to prove that. While few people I, and maybe even you, know will care about the Kinect 2, the sales history seems to suggest that we are in the minority here.
