5 Things Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 Sequel MUST Have

The web-swinging, spider-loving Queens resident has had a wide clothes cupboard over his years, so it's only natural that he should get a darker shade of his iconic spandex.

Seriously though, the Symbiote saga is such a rich story, one of the most major for Spider-Man's character and rogues gallery, blending in elements such as horror and paranoia, and even including such characters as the Fantastic Four. To include the symbiote for the sequel is not only smart, it's perhaps necessary, and when such characters like Venom and Carnage have the potential to be included? It's a no brainer.

New York could become a breeding ground for symbiotic shocks; maybe MJ becomes Shriek and wreaks havoc? In what way will Eddie Brock factor in, given Harry seems to have the Symbiote? So much potential for great storytelling, character development and world building, and an even greater opportunity for a city-wide conflict as was seen in the 2018 game.

Such an iconic story requires an entire game to focus on it, and the Spidey sequel with the same crew as made the first is a fantastic opportunity to get it right.
