5 Times DLC Broke The Game It Was Made For

3. Persona 5

Fallout 4
Atlus

Persona 5 is seen as the easiest of the series, and that isn't a hard conclusion to make. Between the more dynamic gameplay compared to previous entries, the increased range of combat options, and all the stuff New Game+ gives you, bending this game's difficulty over a rail isn't hard, barring playing on the hardest difficulty settings possible.

So obviously, this game doesn't need anyone's help when it comes to being easy. And yet, Atlus felt the need to add in a bunch of DLC personas.

Now, from Izanagi, to Orpheus, to even Ariadne and Asterius from Arc System Works' Persona 4 Ultimax Arena, it's a lot of the really cool personas from previous games.

What's the problem here, then? Well, when you download these personas, you have the ability to summon them the moment the persona compendium is available. And they're free for the first time. And they're pretty damn powerful for the beginning of the game.

Perfect for if you just want to grind Kamoshida's face into the pavement, but not so much if you crave an actual challenge, since any shadows you meet along the way may as well commit seppuku as soon as you show up.
