1. Agency Tycoon
This one has nothing to do with the CIA or any spy agency. Rather, this game idea is about agencies as in the ones that manage celebrities. As one could imagine then, this is a game that has a slightly different bent to the other four on this list as one tries to expand one's agency by taking on more and more clients from various walks of life and then getting them work. It is also up to the agent to help publicise the star's work by organising appearances, signings, interviews and more so that whatever the star is doing, they are being noticed. Of course there is always the dark side of the agent's job where one has to attempt to cover up the more scurrilous side of the client's behaviour. Paying off papparazzi and magazines for compromising pictures of the star, while making sure that their trip to rehab is given privacy and discretion, rather than becoming a week long joke on the tonight shows. The agent has to be able to make sure that these little indiscretions and more don't tarnish the client's image and make him lose public capital ( or worse, get him to think about changing representation ). Naturally, you will be competing against other agencies to ensure that yours is filled with the best and brightest stars. So they're mine. Let me know yours.
