4. Crackdown 3

Crackdown 3 has been MIA for a couple of years now, so it isn't a surprise that many people have forgotten that it's on the way.

Although there hasn't been much shown off so far, what we've seen of Crackdown 3 so far is looking fantastic. The multiplayer portion uniquely utilises Microsoft's cloud system to allow for massive city-wide destruction unlike any other game (apparently the cloud will handle all manner of background computations so every player can experience a new level of environmental deformity). This all but confirms that the game will be continuing the series' famous sense of creativity and freedom, yet there is still so much unknown right now.

When is it coming out? What is the story? What will the single player be like? All of these questions have yet to be answered, but what we do know is that it looks like an epic evolution of the sandbox genre if done right.

More details on the game have been confirmed to appear at this E3, so fans don't have long to wait until they can step into the shoes of an agent again.
