5. Sea Of Thieves

Rare's newest sea-faring adventure looks set to be one of the biggest Xbox hits this year, and certainly isn't getting the attention it rightfully deserves.

Whilst Rare is certainly most well known for the Banjo Kazooie games, one of the best aspects of the company is their creativity and art direction. This shines through in their newest project; Sea of Thieves. This cooperative, online pirate game allows players to join a crew and sail around the game world together, with tons of adventure and activities to find.

This is especially exciting considering how outright creative Rare tend to be. They're sure to pack the world full of neat little in-jokes and easter eggs. Gameplay shown off at E3 highlighted some of the activities in the game, such as drinking grog and sailing the high seas. The sailing and sea combat look especially interesting, simply because they rely on players working together as a crew.

Whenever the game does end up releasing (here's hoping this year!), it'll be sure to give Rare the boost they've needed for a while.
