5 Video Games That Badly Need Multiplayer

1. The Elder Scrolls... VI?

Sadly, there will be no more updates for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, according to Bethesda. Now, if you're a PC gamer, there's plenty of mods and what not to keep you entertained, from ones that offer small missions, to new gear, to new locations and beautiful alterations to the scenery... and then there's also some that do less... "typical" functions, such as the mods that make the ladies of Skyrim adapt an, ah... au naturel look.

The innovative, creative, and occasionally disturbing mods of the PC version aside, we console gamers (unless you're a hacker), don't have access to the same resources that PC gamers do, such as the Skyrim Nexus, which houses loads of modifications to the game that can turn it into something vastly different from the standard version you just bought from Wal-Mart. Now, as further official support from Bethesda has ceased, the next iteration of the game to be released is the Elder Scrolls online - but only for the PC. So, my line of thinking is this: when the sequel to Skyrim comes out for what I imagine will be PC, the XBOX One, and the PS4, I believe that implementing multiplayer in the game would be an excellent investment. Perhaps it could be something akin to Borderlands where a small group goes out to tackle questlines and enemies, or even they could mix it up with a variety of multiplayer modes. I'm fairly certain the next console iterations of the newest Elder Scrolls game will be breathtaking without the multiplayer mode, but it can't hurt Bethesda to take a chance and give console gamers the same multiplayer abilities that PC gamers have.

Right?
