5 Ways To Kill Time Waiting For The Xbox One & PS4 Release Days

5. Re-Visit Those Really Old Games

Gaming Collection It's always this time of year that I remember I've got a box, right at the back of my wardrobe, filled with stuff. No, not that kind of stuff, you dirty minded individual! This box, which is still covered in Lion King stickers (yes, I was that cool of a child) is home to some true gaming gems that I always drag out in the time of need. Inside my box are such games as the original Crash Bandicoots, Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX, Syphon Filter and - in times of desperate need - I've even turned to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Now the theme tune from Croc is stuck in my head. Brilliant. Part of the reason I can actually do this is that I never, ever get rid of games. I can't bear to part with them. Even if they're completely crap, they're still somewhere in the immediate vicinity. If you're like me, the time is nigh to scrat through your cupboards like a demented mole in search of sunlight. Or, in this case, that game you can play for a few days to stop yourself from going absolutely crazy. Retro gaming is a great way to pass the time - particularly if you can get yourself absorbed in a good RPG. Christmas will be here before you know it, and Final Fantasy VII will tide you over.
