3. Fully Exploit The Capabilities Of The Console
The Wii U is quite an interesting console, you can play with the motion sensor as well as with a controller like the other consoles. It's quite obvious to pretty much everyone that the success Nintendo had with the Wii the other companies tried to do something similar, with variable results. The PS move had as much impact as Atari releasing a new console and the Kinect isn't being taken as seriously as Microsoft would like it to be. It's no surprise to see that they kept that aspect of gameplay with the Wii U. However many games don't appear to be exploiting many of the capabilities this console offers. I really liked what Zombie U did with the second screen and the camera, and the map used in several games is quite helpful. However many of them seem to be thinking inside the box. Imagine what kind of things they could do if they exploit all the capabilities this console has in terms of gameplay. You can use the controller for a big part of the game, you can use the motion control for some other parts and the second screen to discover many other things in a game. Doing something unique like that would be really interesting. At worst it would be considered a gimmick and a failed attempt at doing something unique, but if they manage to make it in a great way I'm pretty sure that it would be something amazing. However I have to admit that even if they do something like that their console is still behind the upcoming consoles, which is why...
