5 Ways To Make Nintendo Stand Out In The Upcoming Generation

2. They Need To Develop Further Their Technology

No matter what the Xbox Fanboys or the PS4 fanboys might say, neither the Xbox One or the PS4 are that much different when you think about it. Their specifications are very similar for the most part and in terms of graphics they don't look that much different. If you see the Gameplay Demos of Ground Zeroes in the Xbox One and the PS4 they aren't that much different. In fact, they're almost identical. But I'm pretty sure that if they made the game for the Wii U you would see a difference between the 3 of them. As I said earlier, the difference isn't that much bigger (Hell, the Wii U is more powerful than the 360 and the PS3) but there is a very noticeable difference between the consoles of the next generation. I'm sure that Nintendo did make an effort to make their new console much more powerful, and you really can see it. However I truly feel that they rushed the release of the Wii U when they could've taken a bit more of their time to make it more powerful. I wouldn't have had a problem with waiting a bit more for the Wii U as long as they make it (technically speaking) a big threat for the rest of the consoles. They should begin development of a new version of the console in order to release it sometime after the release of the Xbox One and the PS4 in order to be a bigger threat to them. This idea isn't necessary for them to do it, however I'm pretty sure that Microsoft and Sony will release improved versions of their consoles sometime during the next generation of consoles, so it would be great if they were ready for that as well.
