5 Ways Resident Evil 7 Is The Perfect Horror Game
3. Sporadic Gore With A Big Impact
This game is really bloody and, at times, disgusting. During Ethan's first meeting with the Baker family - which they refer to as "a very special feast" - the gamer is forced to watch as they eat human flesh. What is more, he is supposed to participate, and is punished for not being willing to do so.
There are a lot of dead bodies and a lot of blood. You get to fight using chainsaws, knives or hatchets. There small and big wounds, bugs, brains and colons. You also get to witness some gruesome deaths, none more memorable than Daddy Baker opening up a policeman's brain with a shovel.
That's a really strong, stomach-turning image, that will stay with you long after you complete the game.
