5 Ways Saints Row IV Won Me Over (And How Comparing It To GTA V Is Redundant)

4: It's A Great (and Worthy) Superhero Game

Saints Row Building Jump

By Volition's own admission, Saints Row IV started its life as a Saints Row The Third DLC called Enter the Dominatrix, which probably set many alarm bells ringing. So, what we're getting is a scaled up DLC at retail price, right? I definitely understand that argument, and before I played Saints Row IV I probably would have agreed. But it seems Saints Row IV is a lot more than that. Clearly, the decision to make this piece of content a whole new game was because Volition had so many ideas for it, and this shows. There is a LOT to see and do in this game, with a good campaign and then side missions, activities (including everyones favourite Insurance Fraud - now super-powered) and free roam collectibles to find. A lot has been made of the recycled map from Saints Row The Third, which is not great. But the whole landscape is dramatically changed with the addition of your super-power set. You'll be running, jumping, flying, and brawling your way through the streets of Steelport. It's the funnest superhero game in a while.
