5 Ways To Make The Perfect Crash Team Racing Remaster

2. Don't Change The Gameplay

One problem that comes from remasters/remakes is that sometimes gameplay is changed to better suit modern gaming. Crash Team Racing should not be tampered with.

There appears to be some sort of desire for developers to tamper with their older games by changing different game features and mechanics to try and match the current generation and all of the innovations that have come because of it.

Crash Team Racing doesn't need to do this. One of the greatest charms of the game is how simple and enjoyable it is for everyone. You don't need a master's degree to play it and it isn't exceedingly simple either. It's the perfect mix of 'easy to learn, difficult to master', with many different tricks that players can learn to get better.

Because of this, Crash Team Racing should be kept the exact same to how it used to be. Players want that unchanged level of nostalgia, and that is something that even the N. Sane Trilogy hasn't quite realised. Let Naughty Dog's original gameplay speak for itself and don't try to make any 'little' changes.

Of course, this means leaving all of the game modes intact. And don't you dare remove split-screen.
