5 Ways To Save The Legend Of Zelda

3. Voice Acting Is Not A Sin

Zelda Animated This one kills me: people actually think that they have a reason why Zelda should not have voice acting. It generally is along the lines of pointing out that the CD-I games had voice acting, and they sucked. Well they sucked for many reasons, voice acting just one of them. That game was so bad, even Nolan North€™s sweet sweet voice could not make it even remotely decent (though I would play it if he was in it). Taking that one element and saying that it should never touch your treasure of series, based on the fact that it was in a crappy spin off... it is a bit ludicrous. As long as the Voice Acting team is more diverse than Skyrim and more alive than the Voice Actors for Dragon€™s Dogma, we will be fine. Look at Mass Effect or Uncharted, they would be a lot less of an cinematic experience. Now I€™m not saying Voice Acting is the end all be all, but generally it helps you connect with characters and feel immersed.
