5 Ways To Save The Legend Of Zelda

1. New Inspirations

zelda-wallpaper-1024x640 Seriously I am sick of seeing the same enemies but slightly tweaked, I get it that it€™s all supposed to be the same universe. But does it all need to be the same thing but different game, it€™s like we can€™t move on. Peter pan was the influence for Link, why not watch some other imaginative kids movies and take influence there. Maybe it€™s a drought of creative thought, but I don€™t see a touching adventure tale anymore. Look at Neverending Story, it€™s just a kids tale but it creates this crazy new universe and pulls on your heart strings while doing it. I think it€™d be pretty sweet if in the end of the next Legend of Zelda, I found myself tearing up a bit. Twilight Princess did that in the worst way possible, €œRemember that annoying character on your back that bosses you around during the bad parts of the game? Feel bad for her...." Build a relationship with these characters, make you feel like you are adventuring with them. There are so many great kids tales out there, Zelda can either take influence from them or build their own tales. Not everything is about pleasing the fans, it€™s about making them feel for your characters and your story. Princess + Peril/Ganon(replace with other bad guy) = Game, is a tired formula. There is so many more ways to go on a grand quest, just got to use your imagination. Was that too cheesy? Maybe. Like this article? How would you save The Legend of Zelda series?
