6 Common RPG Character Cliches And The Disorders They Suffer From

5. Reserved Girl Who Wants World Peace And Is Oblivious To Reality

Avoidant Personality Disorder (Hypersensitivity to rejection, emotional distancing, low self-esteem, shyness, lonely self-perception) Patients: Kairi (Kingdom Hearts), Fuuka (Persona 3), Shion (Xenosaga), Yuna (FFX), Polka (Eternal Sonata), Lilia (Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits), Sophia (Star Ocean: Till the End of Time), Cheria (Tales of Graces) This one is a little harder to grasp, but grasp it I will. These kind of girls come in all shapes are forms and are usually healers or even the female protagonist. She usually just gets caught up in everything and goes along for the ride. Most importantly, she wants everything to be peaceful even when the very ground beneath her is being destroyed by who knows what because she simply "believes". She usually starts off extremely shy in order to hide something, but does eventually warm up to the party. In some cases, she'll have a mental breakdown when something is revealed to her or about her - like a reality check - probably because she can't handle the rejection. Instead of going off on a rampage, she'll fall to the floor and whisper "No!" over and over again. It's probably best if we let her do what she wants.
