6 Reasons New Pokemon Snap Is The Best Spin Off Title In The Series

Pokémon's main catchphrase since the series launched in the late 90's has been "Gotta Catch Em All." In virtually all of the titles in the history of the franchise that is the end goal regardless of how many are available. In the most recent main titles Sword and Shield a significant change was made with only select Pokémon featuring in the game. However, given that there are now over 800 different species that have been released it is understandable.

There was never going to be every single Pokémon featured in New Pokémon Snap however there is a huge improvement on the 63 that were available to be photographed in the original. Snap's gameplay makes it impossible to have every Pokémon available due to the sheer number of different levels and environments that would be required. However, New Pokémon Snap has plenty for fans of the series with over 200 available to find spanning across all eight different generations.

A huge number of Gen 1 Pokémon feature, but the majority of the fan favourites from across the last two decades are here, and finding them all will add hugely to the lifespan.
