3. There's A Lot Of Replay Value

Yes, there's enough content to play for hundreds of hours and still find more to do, but even if you were to complete every quest, find every item and level every skill, you'll still find yourself coming back because there are so many different ways to play these games.

Maybe you played as a barbarian the first time. You could replay the game as a cunning thief, a powerful wizard, a noble knight or any combination of these and more, all whilst making different choices and discovering new secrets along the way.

Because you're given the freedom to build your character from the ground up, re-rolling in The Elder Scrolls is exceptionally fun, if you can stomach the tutorial again.

The freedom to explore a huge, detailed world in vastly different ways gives players the ability to play the games over and over again, even if they've seen all that content before.

Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
