Now this one is sure to cause some contention, but I would argue that I had waaaaay more fun in the underground testing chambers of Portal than I did in Half-Life. Heathen? Yes, I know. It's why I sealed up my letter box.

However, you can't tell me that the world wasn’t agog with this Black Mesa-based spin off upon it’s release. It’s like the perfect puzzle game - one which got even better when co-op was added for the sequel. The writing was sharper than an upturned plug, all layered over some of the most devious level design we'd ever seen. Two more words: Still Alive. That got you humming.
