It is very difficult to convincingly engage with audiences and illustrate emotions when your face is covered from top to bottom with paint. Yet, Sting still managed it with relative ease and he did so, for the most part, by not doing anything. At the beginning of his crow gimmick he would make sporadic appearances without saying a word and let his depressive image do all the talking. Not uttering a single word, he managed to tell a story that captivated audiences around the globe. It might seem like 2K wasted their money and effort in using their face scanning technology on Sting, but that couldn't be further from the truth. His story is told solely through his facial expressions and this none the more evident than when he's wrestling. The main factor of this being when his teeth are on display. Yes, that's right, his teeth. Every match he had there were moments when he was flying through the air when doing a Stinger Splash and his mouth wide open just before impact. Or, when he had the Scorpion Death Lock locked in he was exhausted and breathing heavily, again with his mouth open. It seems bizarre on the face of it but his teeth were the only indication of emotion he could display and they stood out due to his face paint being so white. This isn't to say that all 2K have to do is make him open his mouth, but teamed with the face scanning technology they possess, it will feel all the more authentic, and we love authenticity.
Law graduate. Dream is to serve the public by day and parade around as Batman by night. Although, the latter would be more desirable if honest. Huge gaming aficionado. That pretty much sums up it up.
