7 Great Video Game Developers Who Keep Making TERRIBLE Mistakes

1. Bioware - Rushing Out Titles

BLEEDING EDGE
Bioware

Much like EA, it's easy to join in the pitchfork mentality and give Bioware a good ol' fashioned verbal kicking.

But let's turn this into a positive, for once (which is scary, I know) and remember the Bioware from the likes of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and the lesser-appreciated-but-just-as-good Jade Empire.

They can make great games, as fans of the first three Mass Effect's will tell you... alright, ending of the third one aside. There's greatness in there, even with a revolving door of staff.

It's just as of late, with Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem being prime examples of "how not to rush a game", they can't catch a break. This is mostly in part to EA putting the crunch on them to deliver, resulted in half-baked goods.

Which is a shame. Bioware need to grow a backbone and present a timeframe for EA to work to, not the other way around.

Hopefully there's still something in there, and not just with the eventual release of Anthem v2.0.

Maybe a Jade Empire remaster to show us how great they used to be?
