Everyone has seen gruesome experiments in games. Bloodied labs covered in mangled bodies and deranged minds all damaged in the pursuit of something like money or firepower. Of course those never go wrong, right? The experiments never come back to haunt mankind and can be safely swept away once the research is done? Hardly, none of them are pleasant and they all end badly for everyone involved. Some experiments are just a bit worse than the others though. These are the experiments that made us inwardly and sometimes outwardly cringe at just how repulsive they are. The kind that make you face-palm and wonder, "What were they thinking?
