Now at first I wasn't sure what even constituted a mini-boss when it came to Breath Of The Wild, seeing as you can fight Calamity Gannon right out of the gate thus pulling into question as to whether all the Shrine Guardians are relegated to optional bosses, and then if this is the case can there even be mini-sub-optional bosses beneath them?

However before I lost my mind to this increasingly widening mind hole, I was smacked back to reality by the whomping brute force of a Silver Lynel and it all became clear, that this little fella was indeed what I was looking for.

Rocking a monstrous 6,000 HP and hitting with attacks that will leave you making a face like a cat's !*$% could taste lemons, the Silver Lynels is the be all and your end-all of Breath Of The Wild elite enemies. There's nothing quite like that sinking feeling you experience when this absolute unit rears back and begins to roar only for you to realize there's no way you're going to escape its area of effect attack, and don't even think about trying to snipe one of these from afar as it will utterly embarrass you with a barrage of elemental arrows of its own.

Taking down a regular Lynel is no joke, but going up against these is sure to see you as the very bruised punch-line over and over.
