7 Incredible Stories Behind The Making Of WWE Video Games

4. Keep On Rollin' Baby (SmackDown: Just Bring It/Raw)

Believe it or not, there was a time when Fred Durst could do no wrong. The backwards baseball cap-wearing bad boy of rap-tinged rock also gave The Undertaker some street cred with the kids by lending Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin' track to the WWF in 2000. The song was a nice fit with 'Taker's new biker character.

Big bad Freddy wasn't satisfied.

Along with his regular royalties for letting THQ use the tune, Durst asked if he could be in 2001's SmackDown: Just Bring It on PS2. Not only that, but the singer fancied being on Xbox too, and squeezed himself a slot on the roster for the following year's Raw title. Why not? THQ said yes, and suddenly fans had a bonus character they didn't ask for.

Durst had originally been created for use in The Undertaker's entrance, so it wasn't too challenging for developers to add some moves and make him a playable wrestler. Yes, in 2001 it was entirely possible to win the WWF Title as Fred f*cking Durst.
