7 Point-And-Click Adventure Video Game Classics That Deserve A Revival

6. Space Quest

When intergalactic terror threatens our very existence, where do we turn? Starfleet? The Jedi? In Sierra€™s twisted Space Quest universe, the answer is neither. The galaxy€™s last hope comes in the form of bumbling janitor Roger Wilco, an unlikely hero who has thwarted warmongering aliens, time bandits and space pirates, mostly though dumb luck. Roger€™s comedy adventures have roots that stretch back to the days of text-input adventure games, and they€™ve lampooned more Star Trek than a Red Dwarf marathon. The Space Quest series brought delight to many with its quirky humour, amusing pop culture references and challenging puzzles - but it€™s been space debris since 1995€™s Space Quest 6: Roger Wilco in the Spinal Frontier. Another much-loved Sierra property King€™s Quest was recently revived by California-based developer The Odd Gentlemen, and there€™s just as much potential for an episodic Space Quest if someone laid down the Buckazoids to fund its comeback.
