7 Point-And-Click Adventure Video Game Classics That Deserve A Revival
6. Space Quest
When intergalactic terror threatens our very existence, where do we turn? Starfleet? The Jedi? In Sierras twisted Space Quest universe, the answer is neither. The galaxys last hope comes in the form of bumbling janitor Roger Wilco, an unlikely hero who has thwarted warmongering aliens, time bandits and space pirates, mostly though dumb luck. Rogers comedy adventures have roots that stretch back to the days of text-input adventure games, and theyve lampooned more Star Trek than a Red Dwarf marathon. The Space Quest series brought delight to many with its quirky humour, amusing pop culture references and challenging puzzles - but its been space debris since 1995s Space Quest 6: Roger Wilco in the Spinal Frontier. Another much-loved Sierra property Kings Quest was recently revived by California-based developer The Odd Gentlemen, and theres just as much potential for an episodic Space Quest if someone laid down the Buckazoids to fund its comeback.
